Growing up “I was very fortunate to have an older sister who was a artist. Our times together have always revolved around creativity…paint, brushes, workshops, quilting, gardening, the endless world of creativity. I feel so blessed to have always known and loved this wonderful artistic world. Each piece I create is from the life I live. It may be a image I saw while moving cattle, some flowers in my gardens, or a still life set up in my kitchen, always from my heart and from my life.   My first watercolor workshop was in Virginia City. I attended with my sister, Lavonne, who was becoming very accomplished.  I may have been 10 years old!!!  I’ve been attending workshops and taking classes ever since then.  Montana has always been my home. Raising a family and helping with the work of a cattle ranch keeps me plenty busy. It also provides me with endless images and excitement for creativity. I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoyed creating them.
