|Dale Marie Muller was born in New York and grew up in New Jersey. At an early age she was fascinated by art and the artist. The combination of her graphite drawings and oil paintings adorn private collections across the country. She is continuously awarded for her devotion to wildlife art and artistic achievement in both mediums. When Dale is not working in the studio she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
From my first experience working with oil paint, I was captivated by it. There was something essentially spiritual about it. I felt a deep rooted connection to the past, transcended to the studio of an old master. I have always been fascinated by the freedom, the mystery, the depth of self motivation of the artist. The ability to be in tune with nature, to be true to yourself, listening to your inner creative voice inspired me at an early age and has fueled my artwork ever since. In recent years I have created a soulful body of work, both oil paintings and graphite drawings, resonating my deep respect for all wildlife.
The deepest inspiration for all of my artwork is simply beauty, the untamed, raw and natural allure along with the indefinable presence of animals in our lives. Feeling this presence profound therefore creating rich and meaningful work, continuing a tradition dating back to the cave paintings of early man. It’s relevance as a contemporary field of fine art compels us today more than ever, inspires all ages. The ability to connect with a true innocence, to tap into the pure unspoken voice, to celebrate art with a greater purpose and awareness will always be my greatest passions.
